Opus 14

Opus 14 combines the best of mechanical innovation with a remarkable playful dimension. The silhouette of this model is a concentrate of visual surprises, brought together under a sapphire crystal cut from a single block within an 18-carat gold case measuring 54.7 mm in diameter. This new creation evokes, in its design as well as in its automatic complication, a jukebox, whose mechanism has been miniaturised. Every detail is a sign of the soul of the Opus 14: the stylised display of the local time at 9 o'clock, the vinyl-like finish of the various dials, the two-tone escutcheon bearing the number 14, the gradated red of the retrograde minute arc, the font and the blue of the hour-markers. These elements recall the rock 'n roll era, the emblematic aesthetics of the "diners", as well as the legendary Route 66. This spirit is also reflected in the case, which is also inspired by the jukebox.
